The BSI Web Services interface promotes interoperability by allowing you to connect your other data systems to your inventory data.

Do you have other systems that you would like to link with your specimen inventory? Are you relying on periodic data exports or hand-entered data to link information from multiple systems?

BSI Web Services allows you to integrate BSI with other systems, regardless of platform or programming language. Connect your clinical data systems to the BSI server and access the data you need in real time! No more jumping between systems to get your job done. BSI Web Services also allows you to automate commonly executed BSI functions such as report generation, data modification, and data extracts.

BSI Web Services provides secure access to the BSI transaction server from a variety of custom client applications. Web Services provides a standard means of communication between software applications running on disparate platforms. BSI leverages the power of Apache Tomcat and XML-RPC to provide a standardized interface to the BSI servers.

IMS will provide an example application for accessing the BSI Web Services interface, which you can then customize to meet your needs.
