The Results module provides a flexible and configurable method to track the procedures performed on a specimen and store the results of those procedures. Procedures in BSI can be configured to match any biospecimen analysis workflows that you perform. Result Procedures allow you to add customized data fields, verifiers, controls, and other characteristics to be captured in an analysis run. In addition, the module can be configured to acquire single or multiple data sets as well as importing data directly from electronic files.

The Results module is integrated with Requisitions, which allows repositories to manage requests associated with biospecimen analysis including: multiple runs per specimen, machine calibration, control definition, and enforce security measures. The Results editor also allows for the capture of associated analysis run properties such as control data and well plate mappings.

While biospecimen analysis data can be manually entered, the enhanced BSI importer is available to ease this process. The BSI importer can handle any file that is generated after a procedure. You can also save the import mapping so that repetitive imports can be performed with very little effort. Utilizing the customized verification checks that you define, the result data is verified to ensure quality data is being returned.

The procedure data is fully integrated into the BSI client, and expands the scope of BSI functionality, thereby extending your biospecimen tracking even further.
