The BSI data entry system provides a feature-rich, easy-to-use interface to accomplish a difficult task: high quality data entry in a high throughput environment.
The BSI data entry module provides an environment rich with features for making those enormous input jobs easy. When combined with the power of BSI’s data templates, the data entry module provides unbeatable strength to get even the tough jobs done quickly.
The BSI data entry module allows you to create batches to add, modify, or delete data in the database. The editor provides for automatic syntax formatting of data and context sensitive code lists in an easy-to-use spreadsheet interface.
Importing of electronic data files is also available. To ease the data entry burden, the editor also provides integrated label scanning as well as Mass Change, a feature that lets you change multiple rows of data with a single command. BSI also supplies tools in the data entry editor to automatically assign IDs and storage locations.
Integrated into the data entry editor are Templates, which provide for automatic data generation. Data can be generated based on fixed or calculated values. Templates can contain multiple lines, enabling you to create blueprints for processing of specimens in your labs for different studies.
BSI’s data entry editor shows you warnings that exist in the batch via an integrated error table at the bottom of the screen. It will also highlight the cells with errors or warnings.
